Sainte-Terre: capital of the lamprey! This large botanical garden, freely accessible, is home to several hundred species of waterfront plants, arranged along a pebble path reminiscent of the sinuosity of the Dordogne. Your visit to Sainte-Terre will also be an opportunity to discover its emblematic animal: the lamprey through a documentary. An aquatic animal nearly 450 million years old, it will not leave you indifferent! No lamprey is currently visible in the Lamprey Garden. VISIT Take advantage of your visit to the Jardin de la Lamprey to learn more about the Dordogne, its fauna, its flora and of course its emblem: the lamprey. On a free 30-minute guided tour, your guide will lead you metaphorically to the edge of the Dordogne - through a pebble path from the Jardin de la Lampoie. He will share with you the secrets of the local flora that you will find in the heart of the Garden. The end of the visit, in our chalet, will be the opportunity to (re) discover the lamprey, an aquatic animal 450 million years old. The fascinating documentary that will be presented to you will not leave you indifferent!
